Chiasm

A Chiasm is a sentence where words, concepts or grammatical structures from the first half of the sentence appear in reverse order in the second half. However, the reversal of order does not create redundancy but rather introduces a new meaning or perspective and makes the sentence very memorable. This makes the Chiasm a very useful rhetorical technique to phrase important ideas that you wish to convey.
